It’s a little embarrassing but I really don’t know much about how alcohol affects you other than it does something to your memory. Which made me wonder if I study a whole week prior to the exam and then grab a couple of beers on Friday, will it lower my performance during an exam the week after? I don’t drink a lot and never anything stronger than beer. But I am still worried.

Edited to add:not meaning to sound abrupt. But, seriously, especially if you are not getting wasted and blacking out, and it’s so far from your exam, you’re fine. If it doesn’t lead to drinking every day etc. So, you will not lose anything you’ve studied and it will not disrupt your progress and it does not have to stop your studying progress so long as you’re not a binge drinker.
